How do we do it?
Preschool: The little ones learn through art, games, picture books and videos, songs and finger plays. And of course have a snack!
K-5: We teach major Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops, using the Workshop Rotation Model - a multi-intelligences approach. The model is proven to increase learning, retention and attendance by teaching one Biblical story over 5 weeks - through fun workshops that can involve art, science, games, music, drama, and so much more. Kids who cannot attend regularly will benefit because they have 5 opportunities to be involved in one key story! Click here to learn more.
Grades 6-8: Learning takes a different shape with bible review, exploration and discussion. Plus the kids are involved in planning and leading workshops - a great way to remember the key messages younger children are learning. If your child has not regularly attended Sunday School in the past - this is a great opportunity for them to catch up!
Confirmation Class: A two year program for 7th graders and up, the Confirmation process includes classes with our pastor, outreach activities and field trips. When finished, the youth will officially be confirmed and become members of our church. Parents do not need to be members for the children to participate. Click here for the schedule.
